Filters could be included, but I've avoided them for a few reasons:

• They aren't standard. They're just a hack to imitate standards.
• They have very shoddy performance. When you start using filters all over the place, the browser will start to struggle.
• They are being removed completed from IE9

But creating an extension that does this would be very easy.
