Bug: Gallery sometimes resets documents to contain images

Maybe I'm seeing things as this hasn't been super consistent nor easily recreatable, but occasionally the doc gallery gets filled with images. If it shows up again, please add a comment with what you did to make it show up, otherwise I'm going to look through the code to see if there's any miss-overlaps
