Live Stream Skips #125

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Listen Online and start listening.
2. Turn off screen.
3. Stream plays for about 10 seconds then it will pause for 5-10 seconds and
then resume playing (repeat).
4. Sometimes the stream does not come back automatically, but when I turn the
screen on the, the stream resumes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would expect that if I start a stream and turn off the screen the stream will
continue uninterrupted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This problems happens on a Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2 (rooted) with NPR 2.1.0.12 on
wifi. (Keep WiFi on during sleep: Always).

For the record I do have Juice Defender on the phone, however I disabled it and
rebooted my phone and got the same results.

Please provide any additional information below.

I also have a Droid RAZR 2.3.5 running NPR 2.1.0 on the same WiFi and it has no
problem streaming when the screen is turned off. This phone also have Juice
Defender on it, NPR is set to "Enable/screen off"

Hmm - we don't have one of those devices yet. Can you capture a log for us?

I had a similar problem that went away when I removed Juice Defender.

I had the same problem on my Motorola Droid (made it impossible to listen to on
my bike commute), which I no longer have as of this month. I've had it happen
only twice on my Galaxy S3 4.0.4, NPR 2.3v7230.

Interested if this behavior is continuing post 2.4 update. Anyone still see
this behavior? If so, can you list specific streams that this happens on?

Also, renamed issue to be less specific.

I have the same problem on my Samsung Mega 6.3. If you instruct me, I'll
capture a log file for you.
