Before Manifest V3 came into effect, this extension allowed for the user to download as many images as he wanted and to save those images whenever he liked, the Save As dialog box would stay still and allow the user to click on other things of the web pages he was on, the user wasn't forced to download images at the exact instant the box popped up.
Currently, the Save As dialog box works the same way as Chrome's native Save As dialog box, where the user clicks to download an image, the Save As dialog box comes up and doesn't allow the user to click elsewhere, leaving him the option of either clicking to save the image at that instant or cancel the download.
If possible, I'd like to ask for the old Save As dialog box to be brought back, it was greatly convenient and made this extension even more unique than it already is.
In case you wish to test it, you can install the pre-Manifest V3 extension on Chrome version 105 or lower.
