I've added a small test script written in the imageJ macro language with functions to translate and rotate line ROIs to the example scripts. It contains a test case within it, and may be useful as a template from which to build rotation of other ROIs as well.

Thanks for providing that example, @r-wyatt! I had pointed you to the wrong repository: we are keeping the IJ1 macro templates in the imagej-legacy project. I have moved your commit to the correct folder in that repository and filed a PR.
