Same for me, I can't import the GES files in Blender... Any clues, Rob? Thanks!!!
Usually due to not including any trackpoints in your earth studio project. Add a trackpoints in a good location on the map, then export JSON file again with a different name (it may be locked by Blender).

I can't import the GES files in Blender. This is Error page. How can i solve ?
When importing a png sequence and json file this error occurs
