To Whom It May Concern:

I need to use remoover to make downloaded streaming files playable. For some unknown reason, many of the files that I download - fail to download the media manifest.

I read about your program on the Video DownloadHelper Google group. I downloaded your Windows x64 version zip file. Unzipped it and have your remoover executable file sitting in my Downloads folder. I ran it as administrator. A small black screen appears then quickly disappears. Then nothing more.

OK, so I think maybe I am supposed to run it from Windows command line. This appears in Windows command line C:\Users\GH> I can't erase that so I have to work with what I have and add the following C:\Users\GH>remoover C:\Users\GH\dwhelper\ "N2.mp4.part" and I get this message: "remoover not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

I am guessing that when you referred to "command line", you were referring to some command line in the remoover program, but the program apparently is not running on my system. Some small black screen just flashed and went away when I attempted to run the remoover executable.

To help you diagnose the issue, my specs are: Windows 7 Home premium, Service Pack 1 64bit, Intel Core i3 2350M CPU. I do not have Java installed, if that makes a difference. I use the latest Firefox and Chrome browsers.

Thanks for any help you can give me, GH

put the .part files in the same folder as the Remoover. (i moved them both to F:\a\ for a conversion folder) open CMD in the folder with the folder path (open the folder in explorer and type CMD in address bar) hit tab (this will cycle through the files in the folder and all the non .exe files will have the Quote around them). hit the tab until u find the *.part u want to convert. hit home on the keyboard manually type: "remoover " or "remoover -a " hit enter

Hope this helps

Thank you so much. It works great. I add the -a for my HD files to play right. Now all these downloads that miss the media manifest are playable. Thanks again.
