Chrome receiver app crashes continuously #724

We have a receiver app (html and js) which slides images and videos(via 
youtube). Images get unloaded after playing to avoid memory overfill (via 
src='' src2 hack in html). We expect it work stably for hours and even days. 

With images only it would often  play stably for over a day. But with youtube 
it would slow down or crash altogether randomly, sometimes after half an hour 
and sometimes in couple of hours. 

As we are confident there is no memory leak in image slider, it must be either 
issue with youtube player or chromecast itself. Has anyone seen anything like 
this? We would appreciate for any assistance. Chromecast device seems to be 
unreliable and buggy. I can't understand the push on Google's side to develop 
Cast based games, if we are struggling to get a simple slider to work reliably.

Which Chromecast device are you using - Chromecast generation 1 or 2? Also, 
please share the firmware on the same.

Please share feedback report from Chromecast app/extension with the text "for 
Issue 724" in description and share receiver logs here (after reproducing this 
issue). 
Also, when did you start seeing this issue?

The problem is chromecast crashes&restarts  when this happens. So no logs to 
provide, I am afraid, unless these logs get recorded somewhere.

You should still be able to send the feedback report from app/extension.

I can't send the report, as chromecast restarts after the issue and no way to 
send report after then. But I can easily help you to reproduce the issue. If 
you send me an email, I will set you up an account on our system for you to try 
the thing and see it first hand.

We have spent months writing this app and it works nice in almost every other 
aspect, except this critical bug, which ruins everything for us.

I am also seeing chrome cast 2 device crash.  at some point during playback of 
smoothstreaming content the player starts looping on the same frame or freezes 
the frame.  in the console it reports:  [ 60.156s] [cast.player.api.Player] 
seeking due to stall.  and if left to continue the chrome cast will crash and 
reboot.  I have submitted a feed back report, I hope it contains enough 
information.I added the text for Issue 724.  I hope it contains the correct 
information.  I submitted feedback both while it was looping on the same frame 
and after it rebooted.
