2018 Macbook Pro - Bootcamp - Windows 10 Pro 21H1 - Mouse and keyboard notworking after sleep #456

I have a 2018 macbook pro that I dual boot bootcamp into windows 10 pro 21H1 (build 19043.1348)

I installed the project manually first using the inf file. I then uninstalled the apple USB Precision Touchpad Device (kernel-mode) from the device manager and reinstalled the latest project build using chocolately. However this did not fix my problem.

Whenever the laptop goes to sleep, after I wake it up it will not respond to the built in trackpad . It does not respond to a bluetooth mouse or to a usb wired mouse.

If i go into the device manager using the keyboard only, the entry for Mice and other pointing devices is missing.

This has been happening since I first installed the drivers for this project about 2 years ago.

I am assuming it is related to this project as I saw some other issue raised that seemed similar.

I have had the same issue after putting the device to sleep, it seems to happen irregularly. The only fix is to disable the Apple USB Precision Touchpad Device in Device Manager and then re-enable it, usually with an external USB mouse. Tap to click also gets stuck in drag mode for about a second after I let off the trackpad. Others have mentioned the palm rejection leaves something to be desired and I've seen an over abundance of accidental right-clicks.
