Product Summary

Description

A simple 16-bit platformer game using Phaser. Princess Lemon gets word that Princess Lime has been “saved” from her tower by the Rotten Knight, and she needs to set out from her tower to save her. All enemies have a fruit/veggie theme.

In scope

Header as pause menu (simple UI stuff)
Character + animations
Movement/jumping/attacking
Enemy animation/movement
Damage/Health
Background
The simple story conveyed through an intro text and design
Title Screen that includes (title, background, credits(?) and start button)
Simple bg track
Basic sound effects
Moving blocks
Crouch

Out of scope

Connected website (like the game + a website)
Multiple levels / World map
Anything higher than a 16-bit style
Multiple pages
Too complicated SFX

I am beyond excited to see this take shape.

My only thoughts / advice are:

There is a lot that you have in scope! Build the smallest possible thing with the highest value first, and then work outwards from there.
