Python stdlib xml API #5

I am not familiar with the Python standard library's xml module, but do you plan on following its API? It would be helpful for codon-xml to have the same API so that other libraries that use the Python xml module can also make use of it.

Yeah. There are some incompatibilities right now but my intention is for the outer API to function nearly the same if not the same to the standard XML API. I had planned to work on a compatibility layer after we managed to get it running in Codon rather than before.
