I want to dress up a mannequin in my front window that looks normal, but rotates slowly as it watches people walk by. From the street it just looks like someone's looking at you, slowly watching you pass.
It seems pretty straightforward to have a motion detector and/or video person detector, and use that to tell the mannequin where to turn to.
It'd be interesting to solve how to handle having multiple people in frame, or having a group of people split up and go in different directions. It might also be so subtle that it's not creepy enough to be worth doing. I bet I'd learn something though.
