Would love to see an Android-Client for Remote Help - "Just display" would be alredy a great help!

Second this. It would be a gamechanger for Remotely. Could drop Splashtop easily

It can't be too terribly hard. And I am already able to publish to the App Store and Google Play...

I want to find time to do this.

May a look is worth on this project?

I don't think it's necessary.

What we need to do is figure out the best way to display the session in a web view, with some native controls that allow you to control the session.

(Just a plain web view isn't enough; apps that ONLY wrap websites are a violation of the rules of both the App Store and Google Play, and will cause your app to be removed.)

You'r sure you thinking in the right direction? In my opinion the Opener means a Client App to get a Connect ID where the "Agents" can connect to it. And not a App for (i just call it) "Agents" to connect from the Mobile Device. @stevesobol

like: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamviewer.quicksupport.market

stevesobol commented 3 years ago

You're talking about controlling the Android device. I'm talking about initiating remote control using the mobile device, which can be done easily in both iOS and Android; controlling the mobile device itself is likely to be quite a bit more difficult.

stevesobol commented 3 years ago

@Delikt you realize that this thread is about an Android client, right?

Delikt commented 3 years ago

i'm not sure about it, it make sense what you wrote on your point of view, but anyway i think the Opener means something like:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamviewer.quicksupport.market

stevesobol commented 3 years ago

That's not a client. A client allows you to view another device or computer. Plus, take a look at the first couple comments; that's what they're referring to.

Are there any plans to develop Android and iOS clients?
