Slideshow starts playing again after navigating

The bug

When opening a slideshow and pausing it, it automatically switches back to "play"-mode when navigating. I expect the slideshow to stay paused when I pause it.

It would also be great to persist the pause state between views. E.g. if it was paused last time, keep it paused.
