Reproduction steps

I am logged in as the root user (I am the only one using it, so did not set another user)

  1. On web app, select more than two images/videos, then download then, a zip will be created and the downloading status is always pending, but I can cancel it. Also tried on mobile (1.119.0 build 164), there's no prob, and I noticed this time two images are saved to my selected location separately, not in a zip. Maybe the prob is on the zipping process.

Which browser is this?

Ender-Wang commented 1 week ago

Chrome 130.0.6723.92, on an apple silicon mac.

Ender-Wang commented 1 week ago

Just tried the same thing on Safari v18.1, no such prob there. Chrome is to be blamed.

alextran1502 commented 1 week ago

Maybe there is a permission waiting to be granted to download multiple files? Or at least it should show you this

Oh thanks, I was using an extension to manage dowloads, that did not pop up, disabled that extension and now it works. 🫶
