Idea: To have a report export feature where a user could download a report of implementation progress and activities to use in the process of submitting a periodic report or SDG report.
Commentary: Full automation of report writing is likely desirable among States but not particularly feasible as there will almost always be a degree of manual input required. Regardless there are potential export features which could assist in the drafting of such reports. These fall into two broad categories:
1) PDF Document Export - This would allow for an export of clusters, recommendations, actions, background, etc. that has already been inputted into the database. The NPA currently uses this type of approach and the resulting document can be used as a report appendix.
2) Word Document Export - Not intended for final use but more as a starting point for report drafting. A word document export could detail all implementation activities within the structure of a draft report and allow the user to write the narrative and data analysis around it. It could also import a common core document.
