I am using FydeOS with Eve Stable v76. I'm also getting this issue when trying other croissant builds even if those builds have the exact same processor as mine.

My device is Lenovo Ideapad 305-14IBD with an Intel Core i3-5005U.

That warning is normal for older hardware, I don't know if anybody has actually packaged the microcode updates for ChromiumOS and I wouldn't really expect anybody to anytime soon since supporting old hardware isn't really a goal in any way shape or form of ChromiumOS/ChromeOS.

I've recently discovered that Brunch does include the microcode updates, which actually allows for a functional Crostini on many devices, because ChromeOS/ChromiumOS also include security protections against Spectre/Meltdown/etc, and if you aren't using the latest microcode they will block some of the necessary functionality for Crostini to work. CloudReady's Crostini on the other hand is in a bad state on "old" hardware right now due to these protections.
