You're going to get a number of people who are tech aware but not super tech savvy trying the browser out, so I thought I'd put this into the Issues so we can get a clear answer. When I first installed, it worked fine, connected to my camera, microphone, etc. But after I closed and reopened the software, this is the error I got, and while browsing seems to be working fine, I don't know how to turn on localhost so that the rest of the functionality works. What am I missing?

Joined the Discord and got the solution. I was trying to run the software from the taskbar, and it wasn't connecting to the underlying database. When I started the app from the desktop shortcut, it worked perfectly.
