In the SFB Leptohadronic workshop, I learned about the importance of gamma+p and gamma+A interactions for this community.
We have SOPHIA to support gamma+p, but I think this can also be enabled in Pythia8, which would provide at least two models to compare. Maybe this process can be supported in other generators as well.
