Hi Mathias

What a fantastic contribution! I've been looking for a site like this for years
and I don't know how I've missed it before. Are you properly search tagged
under "google map icons"? Thanks so much for providing this.

Unfortunately I can't use any of the ones here. These are great for large
detail maps where there are only a few markers. I have a map of the world where
I show perhaps 500 markers and need a marker no bigger than 10x15 so I'm
looking for something like a tiny flag or even a dot. It would be nice to have
a set of markers something like the usual range of markers on any map denoting
population size so that I could place a marker related to the number of people
coming from any given country.

National flags would also be a great addition.

But you must get steady flow of other requests and it would be impossible to
fulfill all of them. Thanks so much for providing a much needed and excellent
addition to the rather impoverished existing set of Google icons.

Hi,

I know this is a very old question from you but we on this Project have all
been busy with other projects, and work, the last year so there has just not
been any time to reply or update, until now. :-)

I see your point. Did you find your way to
[http://code.google.com/p/google-maps-icons/wiki/NumericIcons], these are the
smallest one we have...

You are unfortunately correct in your assumption that we don't have the
possibility to do 500 markers, and we really want to stick with our style of
icons as well, meaning 1 size and monochrome (two colors).

Thanks for your positive feedback and hope you have found some good use of our
icons anyway!

Kind regards,

Matthias
