Menus (comprising switcher) is not showing any pixamp #534

I've compiled latest trunk from github on Ubuntu 9.10 64Bit
No images (like application icons or action -minimize, maximize etc -) are 
shown on menus.
Please see the attached screenshot.
I did not test it on a 32bit system so I don't know if that is a issue with 
64bit systems.

Appearence -> Interface -> show image in menus
