What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install via apt-get or manual build on ubuntu 10.10
2. run gource
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Following cvs-gource tutorial - expected repo image.. got

X Error of failed request:  BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib 
length error)
  Major opcode of failed request:  65 (X_PolyLine)
  Serial number of failed request:  13
  Current serial number in output stream:  14

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Ubutunu 10.10 on a optiplex core2 duo with a ATI Radeon card. using ATI FGLRX 
graphics driver

Note, if I disable the ATI FGLRX drivers, it looks like gource might be working

Appears to be a driver bug.
