The internal type »file_reference« (eg. used by flux) is supported since version 7.3.0.

Extend this support to regular TCA fields as well.

Patch rebased against TYPO3-v8 branch (TYPO3 8, in2publish 8.x.x).

Hi @pixelbrackets

thanks for the backport PR, but TYPO3 v8 is no longer supported, because its public version is EOL. The TYPO3 v8 branch is therefore closed.
