Would be neato to allow users to unlock better limits (files staying longer, bigger filesize limits) by picking different tiers on Patreon PayPal (with different max limits) + a panel to actually change those limits (up to the limit they're paying for)

What happened to Patreon as service provider in regards to this ticket?

Plans are to leave patreon due to somewhat shady business tactics they've been pulling, and also that it doesn't quite suite lewd.se. You'd want access right away, and not some per-month thing.

Oh yeah, shit that's true, are you able to do calls through their APIs for monthly payment plans there as well or is it one time purchases for a months period?

To be fully honest, I only considered the dodgy tactics and stopped looking into it any further, paypal isn't too fantastic either but it's mostly the "idea" we're after, there are similar services.
