IronArray Community Edition will be a pure Python layer on top of cat4py. We are starting with Python for speed to build the library.
The GitHub repository will be open when we have 1.0 out.
The release of CE and Professional would be the same (so that docs are in sync).
We should strive to implement most of the features of Zarr (except possibly the distributed storage ones). Things like hierarchy, and API compatibility are specially important.
