Greetings to the InBasic Team!
First of all, let me congratulate and thank you all for creating this most useful add-on. Would that I had the wherewithal to make a contribution for all your efforts, but unfortunately my disability pension has done away with my ability to do that. More's the pity.
The reason I'm writing this message is that, in previous versions of Firefox (pre-Quantum), I recall that adding separators within a list of bookmarks produced a corresponding open space within that list when viewed. For reasons that are a mystery to me, that (perhaps unintended) 'feature' is no more. I do not necessarily believe that this is a consequence of installing/using this add-on, however I am wondering if Bookmarks Manager and Viewer (0.2.6.1) is capable of introducing a space between bookmarks and/or folders containing bookmarks at present (and if so, how to invoke this function), or if you would please consider it in a future release?
I think I have discovered a workaround of sorts to create a space between bookmarks an folders. I wanted to share it with you (in case you might not already know).
What I have done is to create a 'blank' bookmark within a directory using Firefox's built-in bookmark editor. I simply Right-clicked on the directory in which I wanted to create the 'bookmark and selected Create Bookmark from the context menu. The default name is New Bookmark, but this can be changed to anything one likes - dashes, asterisks, etc..
In my case I struck the space-bar a couple of times (if you simply delete 'New Bookmark, the bookmark that is created will have the name '(No Title)').
Then, in the Location field, type 'about:blank', and Bob's your uncle, you have a bookmark that will call forth an entirely blank page! Then just Right click the blank book mark created, select Copy from the context menu and paste it wherever you wish a blank to be inserted.
When viewed in the list of bookmarks within Firefox, the created empty bookmark will appear as an empty space (or one filled with dashes, asterisks, etc).
The one significant limitation to this approach is that if duplicates are searched for, each of these 'blank spaces' will be identified, so care must be taken not to delete them accidentally by blindly deleting all duplicates (which should probably not be done in any case).
I would still very much like to see your team introduce some alternative means to create a blank space (separator) into a list of bookmarks, but until you are able to do so, this should make a decent workaround that will accomplish the task.
BTW: IF you should want to include this in your FAQ for other users that might be looking for a similar solution, I want you to feel free to do so.

Many thanks!
Hi, is there a way to put the bookmarks in a panel on the left side of the screen? I’m currently using Flat Bookmark (goo.gl/Jdy4QU) (with Firefox ESR) and I’d like to have something like that (i.e. the bookmark panel on the left side of the screen and the folders stacked on the top of each other in a very compact way).
Furthermore, I would like to see all the properties of a bookmark when I right click on a bookmark: Name, Location, Tags, Keyword, Description....
Thanks
