Please consider the following features: 1- Search tags, keywords and other fields of bookmark entry, 2- Ability to add fields to the bookmark entry such as the properties field Firefox removed, even if you have to add a separate adjunct file to do this, 3- Show a column for folder name tree path in result of searches, 4- Show columns for tags, keywords and any other field, 5- Export/import to/from various formats, 7- Give flexible options for grouping of search result, 8- Make search criteria remembered making it possible to store different search criteria for reuse, Sqlite will probably help here and in other features, 6- Consider using Sqlite if you are not using that and make it available with all its useful features, 9- Consider making a standard API help other applications have access, Sqlite will probably help here and in other features, 10- Allow option to work with or interface to Thunderbird address book, its calendar and task; keep in pace with Firefox and Thunderbird and not do what SeaMonkey does. 11- Stay away from Chrome or else why bother doing it at all, reuse open source but we want you to be better than Chrome and the like, 12- Do whatever Firefox failed to do or does not want to do, don’t just tag along.
Since the first few bookmarks appear in the window below the tabs and extensions, it would be nice if I could assign a position for a bookmark. For example, instead of dragging a bookmark from the bottom of the list to the top, I could enter a number in a sort order field and have it placed where I want it.
A few subjects: How to share the bookmark tree between Firefox and Chrome (not finding info). How to share between systems (seems Chrome did this for me but I want to migrate away from Google).
Interface subjects. More "right click" type options. Add bookmark. Add Folder etc.
Many of the items I would expect under "right click" I can only get to by choosing "Tools". Can you make both sets available both ways?
thank you for your great work!
Hi, I have some bookmarks like about:addons in Firefox Quantum. It would be very useful if bookmarks-manager was able to open these as well as regular bookmarks.
Thanks, Sindbad
