Ungrouped Emails Are Unable To Be Marked Read #615

There is a bug where you are unable to mark emails as read or "Mark all as read" directly from Gmail Notifier when not using grouped emails.

Reproduction: 1) Follow the instructions above in the link and select Conversation view off 2) Click "Mark as read" in the Gmail Notifier Extension 3) Nothing will happen

It seems this addon development is dead. Last commit a year ago, bug reports from 2017...

This extension retrieves unread information from the Gmail feed. However, the Gmail feed output lacks message IDs and only includes thread IDs. Consequently, when you mark a message as read, the extension attempts to mark the entire thread as read, equivalent to marking the last message of a thread in ungrouped view.
