So how do I use this? If i turn on 2FA for my google account it only lets me use Google Authenticator. How do I use this instead.

Do you have an irc channel?

@LargePrime: Google Authenticator is software, time-based token app created by Google aside with they own implementation of HMAC concept into tokens. App and token generation algorithm was opensourced and pufff! We have the standard. Google made only few official clients, but we're talking about IETF approved standard, there are RFCs and all, so anyone can create own, but in 100% compatible implementation. Like this one.
