Recognizing which observations are catches #47

When I select catches it only gives catches from Flanders, all catches in the Netherlands and Germany are seen as observations @DimEvil do we need to indicate this in the data?

Hi @EmmaCartuyvels1,

I've updated the configuration so that all data from of the following datasets is automatically considered as catches:

(data update is in process, should be okay in one hour max).

Can you clarify:

Does that solve the issue? Or are there other dataset that should be configured as "always catches"? Or is it happening from mixed (catches+observations) datasets?

Hi Nico, The following datasets should also be considered catches:

I updated the list in the application settings, I let "RATO - daily operations commissioned by the province East Flanders, Belgium" on hold waiting for a more detailed answer.

@LienReyserhove would you be able to check this in the near future? Nico won't be working on the project for much longer...

Apparently the "VMM - Rat control occurrences in Flanders, Belgium" dataset also contains both observations and catches, @DimEvil are these two easily seperated?

EmmaCartuyvels1 commented 1 year ago

The "VMM - Rat control occurrences in Flanders, Belgium" has two options as far as I can see for Sampling Protocol: RAT TRAP and casual observation. This could be used to make the distinction in the dashboard, although I think a lot of catches are also marked as casual observation
