What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unzip a zip archive that contains folders and subfolders with files in some
of those.
2. Observe that the modified date of the folders that contain files is set to
today.
3. Observe that those that don't have files have the original date at the time
of archival.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would normally expect that all the dates are as they were when the archive
was created so that I
have an exact reproduction of the original data.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using theunarchiver version 1.6 on Mac OS X 10.4.9.
Please provide any additional information below.
I have not checked to see if other kinds of archives exhibit the same behaviour.
If you would care to point me at the pertinent locations in the code, I would
be happy to make
the necessary changes and return them to you. I can picture what is happening
but have not had
the time to dig in to find the code to change.
