It's possible that karaoke is popular in countries that don't speak English. Heck, it's also possible that karaoke was invented in a non-English-speaking country, and that the word itself has non-English origins. I mean, who knows, right? So the interface should probably account for that. Spin up some crowdsourced translations and try to guess based on the user's i18n settings, with a little flag picker to change the language if we get it wrong.
