Inconsistent diacritic placement #64

I noticed the circumflex and the diaeresis aren't always consistently placed above letters. Here are some examples:

There is also an inconsistency in the placement of the acute accent. For certain Latin consonants, the combining acute won't actually combine with the character it follows.

hmm,

can you do me a big favour @axtk and check if this is an issue with Bodoni* too?

if so we can open an issue request there to, if not then that will help me fix this!

the acutes look fine in Bodoni

It's not directly related, but the combining macron, breve, ring above are displayed above the letter on the right in addition to sometimes clashing with the glyph itself. In LibreOffice, that is, Scribus for example doesn't have this problem. What could be the reason for this?
