There is a weird "cut off" look when you combine regular font + bold font weight. It might happen too with other type of fonts, but this is noticed because bold is the default in many user-agent styles (like h1), so it will look that way if regular font is used.
Workaround is to use bold font, since bold on bold does not seem to make any difference.
