This is a somewhat major PR, and I'd appreciate any eyes on them that are willing.

Check for CustomComponent in Notifs component, and render instead of the default Notif component.
Pass all props to CustomComponent. This lets users define custom props in the create action that they can use in their own CustomComponent.
Make Notif a pure component.
