In this thread we manually track popularity of the dict installer software once in a while (this is a lower bound on the dicts themselves, which may be installed independently of this android installer on other devices)

Does this metric measure the instruments having the stardict-dictionary-updater app on a given date? Or daily new installations?

Just the former.
