created a small package for handling ashtadhyayi repo https://github.com/sanskrit-coders/ashtadhyayi_repo_parser

for this case, creating babylon files, example is given in README.

Nice! Why don't you merge this with https://github.com/ashtadhyayi/data_curation though?

Ok, @damooo ! Moved the code to appropriate modules in https://github.com/ashtadhyayi/data_curation . You should also have received an invitation to join and contribute to the repo as you please.

I converted your markdown comments (from the README) to reStructured text and saved it as the module comment. In general, the best practice is to keep the comments with the code so that the comments and the code don't diverge. User friendly documentation can then be automatically generated and hosted on sites like readthedocs.io .

Any progress on this front? In stardict dictionary updater, I am seeing old old data. Maybe it will become part of werker, just like regenerating hugo pages.

If possible, devote this sunday to this important task. Then only the centralized commentaries will become real masters.

We can not tell others to use if we dont do it ourselves ;)

We should be able to generate babyloans programmetically from central repo using https://github.com/ashtadhyayi/data_curation/blob/master/ashtadhyayi_data/writer/babylon.py script.
