This should be expanded to include an explicit reference to XFN 1.1 to make rel=me more discoverable, and optionally include some text (perhaps in a different section?) noting that rel=me is a widely deployed and supported authentication mechanism actively in use by IndieAuth implementations. E.g. at a minimum:
"and others use alternative forms of authentication such as [RelMeAuth] which uses [XFN11]’s simple rel=me markup."
