Consider Automatically Adding Mod Rewrite Rules #150

'mod_rewrite_rules' is a filter that allows .htaccess rules to be added by WordPress that will survive a refresh of the WordPress file.

Only reluctant to do this because I'm not sure what might happen if it is already wworking.

As WordPress 5.6 adds rewrite rules to support application passwords, closing this.
