Various users are unable to sign up and are seeing: "A network error (such as timeout, interrupted connection or unreachable host) has occurred."

Currently, this error is being seen in the following countries:

China (predominantly)
Sudan

TIL this is a common issue in China because Firebase is blocked there. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42605566/can-firebase-be-used-as-a-database-in-china-now

Update: unfortunately due to Google's restrictions, we may not be able to offer Indify to users located in China for the time being, however we will continue exploring options that will allow them to potentially log in with China-based login providers.

This is still an issue. I am experiencing this, so you can add United States to the list of countries it is affecting. I'm unable to log in at all. It's quite frustrating.
