Maybe we can shorten all

... memcmp(buffer, "\x01\x00\x0e\xd2...", 8) == 0 || ...

tests to more general

... memcmp(buffer, "\x01\x00\x0e\xd2", 4) == 0 ...

What do you think? I have only X-T1 for testing, so I'm not sure, if it may work with other cameras as well...
