SVBony SV305 M Pro connection failure #882

Hi,

I recently got a SVBony SV305M Pro as a guiding cam. Had a SV905C before without any issues in combination with a SV405C.

But the new one i am having big issues getting it started up corrrectly. 9/10 times i see it in the indi control panel, but upon pressing the connect button all I get is an error message saying "SVB ERROR INVALID INDEX".

I either have to restart the Raspberry many times and / or disconnect/reconnect the camera to get it finally running.

Using lsusb it shows up normally and also in the dmesg output i see no errors.

Google gives very few hints about it, only in combination with some other astro sw but there it seems to be driver related.

Turned out to be a hardware issue. Had some 5V backfeed from my mount to the Raspi which the SV305 does not seem to like, my SV905C is not affected by it. But once I fixed that, the 305 works like a charm!
