TwoFingerScroll does not start with windows #35

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Reboot PC, Start PC --> no twofingerscroll

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The program should start and I should see a tray icon. Instead it does not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version, 1.0.6. On a Lenovo s10 with Windows 7 (build 7057)

Please provide any additional information below.
It used to work perfectly, ie., program started after reboot. I had to
install the Realtek drivers for audio to enable microphone, after that
installation, TwoFingerScroll no longer started with windows. The checkbox
is checked! Is there another way to start the program automatically with
windows?

SOLVED

Navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup folder, or alternatively, just type shell:startup in
Start
Search and hit Enter
move the twofingerscroll.exe to that folder.

done!

solved?
not really.

It has now become apparent that the problem still persists when the netbook is
not
plugged in a power outlet. On battery power, the progam does not load on
startup.

It works fine when plugged in to an outlet.

Suggestions, anybody?

launch "msconfig" click the startup tab, and enable this application if it is
there and disabled. This application should add itself there when you click the
start with windows checkbox.
