Ui not well-formatted for user who does not use the app full-screen #1

The target user is a CLI power-user likely to use the app on a laptop, and side by side with other windows open. In this context, when the terminal window is not full-size, the displayed information is hard to read as it is very wide and cuts off at unexpected points.

As a new user, I frequently refer to the /help command as I am getting acquainted with the app. Therefore, in terms of the severity, I encounter this inconvenience occasionally, but I can still continue to use the product.

Team's Response

This has been stated in the UG.

Items for the Tester to Verify

 Issue response

Team chose [response.Rejected]

Reason for disagreement: I believe that stating the app is only usable in full screen is an unreasonable constraint that hinders testability by making it hard to use the app. Moreover, even on an almost-full-screen window, the issue identified still persists. Therefore, this is clearly not optimised to the CLI expert power user. It is also a rather basic expectation that the user should be able to use the app, unhindered, in a window that is not full-screen or almost full screen.

Moreover, the task requirements did not make it compulsory that the app only has to be full screen.

 Issue severity

Team chose [severity.VeryLow] Originally [severity.Medium]

Reason for disagreement: Along with the above argument, as a user, this bug fits the definition of a medium severity bug, where this is a a flaw that causes occasional inconvenience to some users but they can continue to use the product. It definitely appears more than rarely, every time the listing command, help command, or any command that involves listing a series of universities arises. Therefore, it should be a medium severity error.
