Thanks for your contribution! If you'd like to develop a full-featured Mandelbrot browser based on this code, then please do this as a separate project. This code is intended as a programming demo, not much more.

I run my own project already, this contribution was just meant as a one time port of some basic effects :-) feel free to skip it if you don't like it...
