Pull-down to refresh circle too sensitive #282

That circle that reloads the current page when you swipe down at the top of the screen. I find it is extremely over sensitive. When I am scrolling a page upwards. If my finger is still in the downward scrolling-swipe motion when it hits the top of the page (without stopping), it automatically starts pulling down the refresh circle... and often times results in a page reload. When you are typing a new facebook status (note that the status is situated at the top of the facebook newsfeed), after typing a considerable amount of text. If you have to scroll the text up to fix an error, scrolling the text easily trips the REFRESH circle if you drag your finger too fast/far down. Ive accidentally reloaded the newsfeed while I had an entire paragraph of text still sitting in the status text box..losing it all. This has happened twice.

This also happens if you are zoomed in and start zooming out. The downward motion of the top finger starts pulling the REfresh circle down as soon as full minimum zoom occurs. I can't tell you how many times ive accidentally pulled that thing down. For me, it's only really an issue while typing because it causes the text to get deleted. But there are people out there on very limited data. Might help to have an option to disable it... or adjust the sensitivity. 👍

Thanks

The same. Please adjust it to only work when at the top of a page or add a toggle to disable it. 😊
