5 years ago Hello. There are some improvements for the implementation. I fixed some bugs and rewrote code by the idea such I wrote in How to make the implementation better:. I divide markdown syntax into two groups:
- One-line (bold, italic texts, links, images, monospace)
- Multi-lines (Lists, nested lists, Quotes)
I convert One-line syntax into inline html by reg_ex. And I convert Multi-lines syntax into haml's markdown filter
:markdown.
And now, It works. It is a list of supported markdown features:
- headers
- text styles (bold, italic, bold-italic)
- links, links with title,
- images, images with title
- inline code
- block quotes
- lists and nested lists 😀
- code block
But it does not support:
- paragraph
- alternative heading (I need time to think how to implement it)
What do you think about it?
Fixed a bug with render different headers with the same context.
