hi when i want to run this project to see what it give as result, i've faced this dialog error

Error: cannot remove old output vector file in this location WORKSPACE/simulations/multicell/results/interferenceTest-$extAllocType="FULL_ALLOC"-0.vac': invalid argument

Please could you help me should i give some input or what, i'm new here please give me some help

Hello.

You are getting that error because the file format for output files contains illegal characters (you are probably working on windows), namely the air quotes. To solve it, in the file simulations/multicell/omnetpp.ini change parameters output-scalar-file and output-vector-file so that they do not contain the ${iterationvars} field.

capture Re,

After i fix the first problem with the solution that you gave me , i got now a new error, "Error in module (VOIPSender) MultiCell.server.udpApp[0] (id=34) during network initialization: L3AddressResolver: address 'ue11' not configured (yet?) " i think that the problem is in the quote 'ue11', how can i change it so that the program know the adress of ue11

Thanks again

I'm trying to reproduces your issue. In the meantime I strongly suggest you to use OMNeT within an UNIX system. An Ubuntu 14.04 would be ok.

Hello. I'm having the same issue with my installation of OMNET5 in a Windows SO. I'm writing in order to enforce this issue (I've read other posts in the OMNET newsgroup about the same problem, with no answer or no solution proposed), and for ask AnasSim if a workaround has been found since last week. Best regards, Michele

Hi,

to the best of our knowledge it seems to be a compatibility issue between the latest version of INET and windows 10. I also wrote to the OMNeT++ google group and awaiting for an answer. The whole project is working fine with unix. I will publish an update as soon as we solve this.

BR Antonio
