Update dependencies
Fixed the python requirement checker to not use the deprecated pkg_resources.
Disabled TESTS and BENCHMARKS for linux ci, i was not able to fix the maybe_unused, this is an C++17 extension warning - with the Clang compiler.
+ some other smaller tweaks
