Using Jerry's 8/25 build bluetooth will connect to my Pioneer H/U as a phone but will not connect for media playback. It refuses to connect and then I have to back out and reconnect Bluetooth and select only phone in the options menu.

Added I can confirm on the newest build from mgr666 same thing is occuring. When trying to connect to my pc via bluetooth the phone mode works but media will not connect.

Its huge I know (thats what she said lol) but not sure what you need to figure it out. Since everybody is kinda ignoring this figured everything would be good.

Want to add I get options for phone and media in the phone options. On the H/U I get the options to connect via phone, avrcp, and a2dp. I can select phone and avrcp but a2dp will not let me select it on the H/U.

Ive tried this on several versions of Jerry's build and Bobs build most recently. I still can not connect to media via BT. Im seeing various people having similar issues. I did nanadroid back to stock and everything worked fine. I know its a issue within the rom.

Has it ever worked on an IHO ROM? If so, what ROM and build date?

Eollie commented 13 years ago

As far as I know its never worked on IHO. The asop variations seemed to work. I think it might have even worked on the ath3nos port mmarz did but cant remember.

Ok this is just a prelim result. I just tried to connect again to my PC and media is working. I just tested it on my vehicle and its pairing. Now sure what changed but it seems to be working partially.

Well Im now having a issue getting it to connect I guess something is still amiss. It just rebooted the phone. Ill report back later once its fully charged.

Eollie commented 13 years ago

Uggg so it briefly worked now it just refused to connect. It will "try" and you can briefly hear sounds and get the popup on the pc but it will immediately disconnect. Same with the vehicle. Incase it matters Im using a Pioneer DEH-P7100BT H/U never have had problems with any other device just the Optimus using CM7 roms.

Just updated to the newest version of Mirage by mgr666 and still can not connect to media via Bluetooth. Ive done everyting I can think of and nothing I search for turns up anything at all. I cant believe this is a isolated problem with just my phone, seeing as how its two totally different devices that it refuses to connect to. Ive connected a Droid X and a Experia to both devices and no issues at all. There has to be something that has been commented out that is creating this problem.

Whatever you need let me know. I can get a new lolcat and post it but this is driving me bananas.
